A visit to the São Bento Train Station is an absolute must when to go to Porto. The train station’s walls are filles with magnificent tiles painted by the Portuguese painter Jorge Colaço. If you want to travel from Porto to Lisbon by train, you can start your train ride from São Bento or Campanhã. The journey will take around 2 hours and 50 minutes if you go by express train and 3 hours and 20 minutes with the normal train.

The festival takes place every year and is filled with grilling of sardines, dancing, singing and lively backyard concerts. Dancing until the early morning is a part of the celebration.
